ToadShow created an original logo for the centenary of Fernberg, Queensland Government House. The logo then informed the design of all the products in the project, including interpretive panels, booklets and merchandise.
The Fernberg project gave us the opportunity to stretch our design wings on a range of materials. A highlight is the 24-page A4 booklet documenting a century of vice-regal accommodation on the hills of Paddington.
In designing 10 banners of Fernberg’s history ToadShow searched through Fernberg's archives to find photographs that best portrayed the history, sense of place, and the personalities of the Governors. To help create the atmosphere, ToadShow captured more photographs at Fernberg to accompany the historical images, adding contemporary colours, angles and details.
