The key to effective online communication isn't always a loud site with lots of pages, links, images and videos. Less is more when describing paradise. This was the case when creating the web site for Mullet's Cabin at Orchid Beach on Fraser Island.
The navigation menu stays on top as the visitor scrolls down, making jumping to more information a breeze. Visitors to the site can either scroll down the home page, reading about Mullet's Cabin, Fraser Island, what to bring and what to see or they can skip to a relevant section without having to load another web page.
Prominently featured is an image gallery providing interior and exterior views of the cabin. The gallery is presented in a slideshow with a transitioning lightbox effect.
A blue and white colour palette was chosen and non-gallery images are given a photo-album treatment to convey the sites' beach holiday theme.
